The discharge of static electric charge is a spark that occurs as a result of contact of the charged surface with the surface of a conductive body. This super-fast transfer, which was previously a static load, may result in fire and explosion, or produce heat, light, and sound. Active electronic equipment such as microchips, integrated circuits and machines are also sensitive to the phenomenon of electrical discharge. Even when the environment and people are equipped with anti-electricity protective equipment and clothing, there is a possibility of unwanted contact and occurrence of dangerous incidents when working with static electricity-sensitive devices. Therefore, for more safety, the formation of this spark should be prevented.

Antistatic Resin Flooring

Concrete surfaces are generally sufficiently electrically conductive due to their moisture content and are considered a kind of static anti-electric flooring. However, most hospital and pharmaceutical resin floors (such as epoxy flooring, polyurethane flooring, and MMA flooring) applied to the concrete surface are electrically insulated.
Antistatic resin floorings, such as antistatic and conductive floorings can prevent the discharge of electrostatic charge or spark. Antistatic flooring transfers the static electric charge to the earth through conduction (conduction of electric charge) or prevents danger by dissipating it (semiconductor flooring).
